Sales Assistant

Working within a sales branch, you will be responsible for ensuring that all provisions of services negotiated by Sales Engineers and clients are carried out satisfactorily. You will act as the mediator between our clients and our suppliers, ensuring complete client satisfaction. You will work in partnership with the Sales Engineers and the Customer Service Representatives in your team.
• You will establish personalised and regular telephone relations with your clients allowing you to respond to their specific requests. You will offer them our complementary services (e.g. fuel management, maintenance, insurance, vehicle replacement). Depending on the structure of the client organisation, you will typically be liaising with Heads of Purchasing, Financial Directors and Fleet Managers;
• You will estimate, in consultation with your clients, the expansion of their fleet and will advise them on how to optimise their fleet management;
• You will order the vehicles (negotiation with our suppliers, management of vehicle delivery);
• You will assist the Sales Engineers in preparing responses to calls to tender.
• Technical skills: aptitude for negotiation, good interpersonal skills with corporate clients
• Personal qualities: service-oriented, highly organised, ability to work independently, sense of responsibility
• Gain an understanding of corporate client relations, taking a client-focused approach in your capacity as expert and advisor;
• Take on more responsibility for large-scale projects;
• Work in a team comprising of all service representatives that focuses on maintaining close customer relations;
• Deepen your knowledge of Arval and the services it offers via contact with all the company’s departments (ASS / Finance Department / Accounts Department).

As part of the Sales Division, you will be working within a sales branch comprising of about 18 to 20 sales representatives, managed by a Branch Manager who, whilst maintaining fairly frequent contact with his/her teams, grants them the autonomy to put forward their own proposals and implement their own projects.
