Sales Engineer, Large Corporates

Working within a sales branch, you will be responsible for client relations with “Large Corporates”, which lease over 750 vehicles. Arval’s sales activity within this traditional market segment is today focused on personalised follow-up and development of established client relations. Your primary role is to serve in an advisory capacity.
• You will increase client retention and build your client portfolio providing a quality service and paying careful attention to the status of each account. You will anticipate your clients’ evolving needs and will ensure the consistency of the services provided. Depending on the structure of the client organisation, you will be in contact with Heads of Purchasing, Financial Directors and Fleet Managers;
• You will advise your clients on our entire range of complementary services in order to best meet their needs (insurance, fuel management, vehicle replacement, maintenance management, etc);
• You will undertake auditing and consulting assignments for your clients in order to optimise their fleet management;
• You will supervise a team of sales assistants and customer service representatives who are also working to deliver our services and nurture client relations.
• Technical skills: sales-oriented, good negotiation skills, basic knowledge of financial principles
• Personal qualities: drive, autonomy, sense of responsibility, good organisational skills
• Gain an understanding of corporate client relations, taking a client-focused approach in your capacity as expert and advisor;
• Take on more responsibility when negotiating large-scale contracts;
• Manage sales risk;
• Work in close collaboration with the entire sales team (Sales Assistants / Customer Services Representatives) and other Arval departments (ASS / Finance Department / Accounts Department).

As part of the Sales Division, you will be working within a sales branch comprising of about 18 to 20 sales representatives, managed by a Branch Manager who, whilst maintaining fairly frequent contact with his/her teams, grants them the autonomy to put forward their own proposals and implement their own projects.
