Business Portfolio Assistant

BNP Paribas’ Retail Banking division advises a great variety of clients, including businesses. Employees in charge of “business” clients are in frequent contact with the finance departments of client companies. Within the Group, they rely on the support of other fields of activity (Asset Management or Corporate and Investment Banking) and functions (risk analysis of credit dossiers, legal advice on financing packages, etc).
You will be working as an assistant to a Business Portfolio Manager.
You will:
• Prepare client visits;
• Identify business opportunities;
• Attend meetings, where necessary;
• Nurture customer relations with a view to profitability.
• Skills: general knowledge of finance, economics and management allowing you to deal comfortably with business partners.
• Qualities: service-orientated, sales-driven, thoroughness, good team spirit, resourceful.
• Gain a sound understanding of BNP Paribas’ commercial policy by close contact with the business world.
• Acquire the necessary commercial skills for eventual progression to the position of Business Portfolio Manager.
