Credit Risk Analyst

Credit Risk Analysts ensure the application of the risk management policy in terms of credit. They represent the interests and perspective of the bank, ensuring compliance with the statutory obligations as well as the appropriateness of the risks undertaken.
You will:
• Conduct risk analyses of financing proposals drawn up by the SME Portfolio manager (credit and counterparty risk analysis).
• Take positions on the terms of the guarantees and determine the terms of the financing packages.
• Manage credit dossiers and the agreements (guarantees, sureties, etc) that represent a risk for the bank (compiling all elements of the dossier, ensuring transactions are executed correctly).
• Renew financing agreements.
• Manage bad debt recovery.
You will be in direct contact with the sales team and will exchange information on your positions with them.
• Skills: knowledge of finance, economics, management, accountancy, law and taxation, which will allow you to deal effectively with risk through an all-round approach to business issues.
• Qualities: thoroughness, critical / analytical / objective thinking, thinking, sense of control, good communication skills.
• N.B. Must demonstrate a particular interest in sales and a desire to progress to commercial functions.
• Discover the commercial world of BNP Paribas through close contact with the companies it serves.
• Gain a sound understanding of risk management policy.
• Acquire the necessary risk analysis skills for eventual progression to the position of SME Portfolio manager.
