Branch Manager

In order to market increasingly complex banking products and faced with new types of banking relationships (self-service and remote banking), local branches have either had to close or transform (specialise, modernise etc.). In this context, Branch Managers retain a key role.
The Branch Manager is responsible for the profitability and the organisation of his/her branch, which involves a wide range of duties. In addition, the Branch Manager provides the link between the field and Retail Banking Management, which determines the business strategy of the branches.
Working within a Retail Banking branch you will:
• Contribute to achieving the branch’s objectives:
- Monitor your client portfolio;
- Conduct targeted client prospecting;
- Maintain relations with local public figures.
• Manage the activities of your branch:
- Implement a business action plan;
- Engage in risk management.
• Manage a sales team:
- Support the sales teams, in particular by meeting clients together with the sales representatives;
- Organise briefing meetings;
- Train the sales team to ensure that all business proposals match customers’ profiles and meet their expectations.
• Technical skills: Sound knowledge of financial analysis techniques (balance sheets, profit and loss accounts), managerial skills
• Qualities: Good business sense, ability to work independently, good interpersonal and organisational skills.

• Acquire or develop your managerial and organisational skills
• Supervise risk management
