Welcome > Recruitment >  FAQ
Do I need a specific degree in order to apply?   (+ more)

No, we consider graduates from all degree disciplines as long as you can demonstrate excellent academic performance. However, specific degree disciplines are attached to specific missions.
Numerate and analytical disciplines, such as Engineering, Maths, Finance, Economics, Sciences and Computer Science are all ideal, but graduates from other areas are welcome too.
We think other qualities are just as important as academic achievements: your correspondence with our corporate values. We’ll also be looking for the qualities that enable you to work effectively in a team – self-confidence, motivation, strong communication skills and respect for others. Above all, you need to be comfortable with technology, numbers and analytical thinking.

Do you accept "career changers"?   (+ more)

We closely review all applications we receive; when the candidates' non-banking qualifications can be of added value for a business line, we include such candidates in the hiring process.

What sets BNP Paribas apart from the other banks?   (+ more)

We believe that global success depends on local successes. Because local successes are usually initiated by people who really know markets, BNP Paribas has developed a decentralised business model. Businesses are run locally and managers are also hired locally.  In other words, BNP Paribas is a multinational rather than a globalised company. On a day to day basis, working for BNP Paribas means a lot of room for creativity that emanates from different cultures. In addition, employees have more exposure and responsibilities than they would in other organisations that are more centralised.
